OnRamp Insurance Accelerator | Applications due March 15

Each year, the OnRamp Insurance Accelerator, with Allianz Life and Securian Financial, invests in five insurtech startups who participate in a three-month, concierge accelerator program in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Each startup receives a cash investment of $100,000, office space and access to gener8tor’s global network of mentors and investors. Learn more and apply today.

Launch Minnesota Innovation Grants | Rolling applications.

Launch Minnesota Innovation Grants are targeted to the most promising innovative scalable technology businesses in Minnesota. Together we’re working to help reduce the risk for Minnesota technology startups and entrepreneurs, who are solving problems and growing our state’s innovation ecosystem. The following Innovation Grants are available. Learn more about eligibility and other requirements here.

  • Business operations: These grants provide up to $35,000 for business operations, including research and development, direct business expenses and technical assistance.
  • Housing or child care: These grants provide up to $7,500 for housing or child care expenses.
  • SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) match: These grants provide up to $50,000 for businesses awarded a first time Phase 2 SBIR or STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) award.

Meda Mini MBA | Rolling applications.

The Metropolitan Economic Development Association (Meda) brings you the Meda Mini MBA, powered by Interise’s award-winning StreetWise ‘MBA’™ curriculum. This hands-on program provides the knowledge and know-how business owners need to create (and manage) a customized, three-year strategic growth plan. Business owners or CEOs of companies 50% owned by an ethnic minority with $250,000 – $10,000,000 in annual revenues, at least one employee and a minimum of 2 years in business can apply to participate. Must be willing to attend class for 7 months, complete assignments and program evaluations. Learn more and apply.
