Target Incubator is an immersive four month program focused on the next generation of entrepreneurs with a business that is better for people or the planet. Participants will walk away with skills in negotiations, branding, and pitching (just to name a few), as well as a network of like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors. Businesses must be an established legal entity, with majority ownership held by participants. Participants must be of the Gen Z mindset, have a love for innovation, be available to work one hour a week virtually from April - June 2019 and be willing/able to relocate to Minneapolis, MN for 8 weeks from June – August 2019. AG TECH CHALLENGE | Thursday, November 15

US Ignite and the National Science Foundation have partnered with Redwing Ignite and are looking to Minnesota for innovative solutions using hardware and/or data to positively impact and improve agriculture. Awards are available for new ideas or applications.  Finalists will be eligible for up to $15,000 of cash & in-kind awards.   Two semi-finalists can receive up to $2,500 each and direct mentoring from experts in the field to advance their idea. The Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy Program of the City of Minneapolis in collaboration with The Commons and Northern and the Northern Spark festival are proud to host the seventh annual Creative City Challenge based on the theme: “We Are Here.” The Creative City Challenge is conceived as a showcase for local creative talent: Minnesota-resident architects, landscape architects, urban designers, planners, engineers, scientists, artists, students and individuals of all backgrounds to create and install a temporary, destination artwork, which acts as a sociable and participatory platform for 4 months. Three finalists will receive $2,500 to create full proposals. The winning Creative City Challenge proposal will receive a $50,000 commission to execute the project. Learn more here.
